Spoilers ahead:

This book chewed me up and spit me out. I literally thought that Hanna, Nik, and Ella all died. Then, there is a cliffhanger at the end and we don't even get to read how they managed to get back to the core! I am glad that Jackson/Rapier did redeem himself at the end.

I did feel that this book kind of dragged and slowed down toward the middle. There wasn't a lot of action and the things that happened slowed down the story a bit.

Now, I need Obsidio!
